Research that Benefits Children and Families - Uplifting Stories

My sister died, from a brain tumor, at the age of 6.  At the time of her death, there was little known about her brain tumor.  I thank God, now, because many children, in MS, are able to receive treatment, as well as, participate in cancer studies/research in Mississippi.   The MS Children's Cancer Clinic (of the Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children) was completed in 1991.  Real strides have been made and children are living longer, as well as, having a higher quality of life while living with cancer.
The Mississippi Children's Cancer Clinic at the Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children is the ONLY center in the State of Mississippi providing comprehensive care for children with cancer or blood-related diseases.
